East Coast-Gisborne
Known as "Surf City", Gisborne has some world class beach breaks.
The locals were waiting out a rare twelve day wave drought.
We never got to surf their main break, the "pipe" due to
lack of size. We did surf fun knee to shoulder high surf
at a nearby break, Wainui. Most, if not all, images below
were taken in the Wainui area. While we were away at Raglan (West coast)
the waves hit double overhead at Gisborne.
