The Portal
Jordie comes down to Baja to spend a couple of months
surfing and working with rocks. The remarkable structure pictured below
was built using the abundant cobblestones found on this remote stretch
of beach. It is a wonder to look at. I never measured it. I estimate it to be about
7 feet high by 3-4 feet thick. Also pictured is Jordie's current project. Intricate inlaid
stone work at his campsite. Note the domed oven.
