The Highlands
We took a trip up to the highlands where the giant tortoise are. On the way we stopped by Juncal, a crater lake. We were very lucky to meet Raul. He is one of the most well known naturalists in the Galapagos. He has been on BBC and the Discovery Channel . Raul was taking his family on a trip into the highlands and he invited us to join him. We really scored. The man was a wealth of knowledge and his family was very nice.
