In 1999 I took a surf trip to the Mentawais Islands
off of Western Sumatra. It was the best trip of my life.
I shot a lot of slides of the trip and many of them can be
found on this web site. The scanner I used back then
produced nowhere near the quality that my current scanner
is capable of. I decided to rescan some of the better shots and put
them on this page for people to enjoy.
