JETTY LOVE
Sung to the tune of “Radar Love”
By Golden Earring

I’ve been surf’n all day, hairs wet and I'm starting to peel.
There’s a voice in my head that drives me to squeal|
“It’s my wave! Get outta here!”
I get past four kooks and shift the board into high gear

When I’m lonely and the longing gets to much
I head to the break to get some push and some shove
I don’t need no help at all!
I’ve got a thing that’s called Jetty Love!
I’ve got a wave, over there, Jetty Love!

My water proof  IPOD is playing some forgotten song.
The line up is filled with boards to long.
The wave has me hypnotized.
I’m riding into a new sunrise.

When I’ve surfed all day and I’m sure I’ve had enough.
She sends me comfort with the lip coming from above.
Don’t need no help at all.
I’ve got a thing that’s called Jetty Love!
I’ve got a wave, over there, Jetty Love!

No more speed, I’m almost there!
Gotta keep cool now, gotta take care.
Last kook to pass, here I go
and the lines and lines of surfers go by real slow.

My water proof  IPOD played some forgotten song.
The line up is filled with boards to long.
And Shawn Styles sang his same old surf report song
One more Jetty lover gone.

When I’ve surfed all day and I’m sure I’ve had enough.
She sends me comfort with the lip coming from above.
Don’t need no help at all.
I’ve got a thing that’s called Jetty Love!
I’ve got a wave, over there, Jetty Love!
